MTTTY.ZIP is a single EXE program that allows you to type or send a file thru a PC's serial port. You can see received characters or capture them to a file. It allows you to select parity, baud rate, and some other serial port configuration aspects. It will also show any errors that occur, and what kind they are.
It lets you pick:
Handshaking
Baud Rates
Parity
Data bits
Stop bits
Local Echo
Display Errors
CR Translation
Wrap
Flow Control
Ports 1-4
and several other things.
